The Weston Home: Updated Traditional Style

Upgrading a custom 90's home can be tricky, but this is just what I was tasked with. We refreshed the living room (but kept the client's wall color and rug), and totally revamped the master bedroom and master bath, as well as the family room. A gas fireplace and new mantel replaced the bulky stone wood burning fireplace in the family room, allowing for more space on a wall directly across from the TV media center.

Upstairs, the master bath needed the cherry wood obsession to go, and we replaced a massive built-in with columns with an airier concept. The master bedroom, very expansive in size, was underused, dated and felt sparse. Warm materials such as carpet, rug, and window treatments were added to make it cozier. A seating area filled in an empty zone. This traditional family requested a calming, colorful, refined interior and we delivered!
